About Drinks & Ink

Drinks & Ink is a four-week class designed for beginning to intermediate writers. Participants will explore the ways writers craft memorable characters and stories, share fun writing exercises, and find space to write in a supportive environment. By the end of the class, participants will have completed, work-shopped, and revised an original short story, and will have the opportunity to share their work in an open-mic style reading.

Dates, Cost, and What to Expect

There will be four classes meeting Tuesdays from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Once Over Coffee Bar, July 15-August 5.

Cost is $125 per participant. This cost includes four class meetings, short story PDFs and class materials, and a printed chapbook of everyone’s final draft, with cover art. Once Over will offer weekly drink specials.

This is a class for beginning to intermediate writers of all backgrounds and abilities. Expect a fun, low-pressure, supportive environment. Come with a curious, open mind, and a spirit of respect and caring for the work of others.
